Already abusing her powers, Willow soon became addicted to the magic provided by Rack. She hit rock bottom after she got Dawn into a serious car accident while high on his magic. But this wasn’t the last of Rack on the show. After Warren Mears failed to kill Buffy, he went to Rack for magical protection.
The warlock agreed but warned Warren that Willow was the one he should be afraid of — especially because Warren accidentally killed Willow’s girlfriend, Tara, when he went after the Slayer.
