In the first episode of the series, a mysterious trunk is removed from the lake and the police discover a dead body shortly after. When Tae-seong and In-ji meet at the lake, she shoots him after he attacks her, but the bullets are blanks, so he survives.

She knows that Jeong-won’s father had done the same thing to his mom, which made her actions even more unforgivable.
