Every Osgood Perkins Movie, Ranked Worst To Best
Osgood Perkins has made a name for himself in horror with his deep themes and penchant for strikingly imaginative visuals as a director.
His statement reflects how some filmmakers with successful movies go on to produce big-budget films for various studios. A recent example is Julius Onah, who directed 2019’s award-winning social thrillerLuce, being tapped forCaptain America: Brave New World. The practice of pulling successful filmmakers onto tentpole projects isn’t anything new, but clearly something Perkins wants to avoid for his career. Since there are plenty ofhighly-anticipated horror movies coming in 2025, the director sticking to what he knows makes sense, especially because his quick output signals he has plenty of ideas.

Perkins also wrote the moviesRemoval,Cold Comes at Night, andThe Girl in the Photographs.
