Don’t read the tutorial! We’ve summarized a guide on how to play Fantasy and farm some points for The International 2024 Compendium. From a newbie, to a newbie.
Hey, we are all newbies at some point, and The International 2024 will be our first time playing Fantasy, too. After thoroughly reading the tutorial twice, we’ve made a comprehensive guide for this year’s version. Spoiler alert: It’s exactly the same as last year’s. So, if you want to farm 2024 points or just beat your Steam friends, you’re in the right place.

First things first, pick your three players that will be representing your team for the Group Stage. Since groups are not announced yet, we strongly suggest you adjust this when more information is out. For this example, we’ve picked ATF (Team Falcons) as Core, Quinn (Gaimin Gladiators) as Mid, and Whitemon (Tundra) as Hard Support.
After this, this is The International 2024’s Fantasy UI that you will get:

First pro tip: attempt to pick a hard carry for the core role and hard support for the support role. The role emblems tend to benefit these positions. But, of course, it’s mostly luck.

Each player will have a banner with different stats that they can reroll with Compendium tokens. These are limited, and you only get them with earned levels. So, use them wisely. Now, you only have to understand the following concepts:
