In an interview withE! News,Joan revealed that she and Chock have most likely found their dream apartment in New York City, located in SoHo. She explained,“We think we found a place. We have a realtor in New York, and she sent us a video of her going through the apartment and it looks great. So, we’re hoping it’s done.”
Joan and Chock each had different requirements for their dream home, with Chock wanting a smoking patio where he could have cigars with his friends, and Joan desiring a walk-in closet. She said,“I want him to have the patio upstairs. But if we find a great place that doesn’t have one, the walk-in closet wins.”
Joan shared that she and Chock were lucky to have found this particular apartment in New York Cityafter an exhaustive search. She said, “The inventory is super low this time of year. We’re just keeping our fingers crossed that we get it. Hopefully, this is the one. But this was quick.” Joan revealed that they looked at about 20 different places a few weeks ago, and then all of a sudden a home in SoHo became available, “and it’s exactly where we want to be.”
Joan added thatshe and Chock wanted their own place in New York City so that they have somewhere to be alone together. She explained,“We have our families around all the time, and we’re super lucky to have that. But to just be us a little bit will be really nice, and to have the whole city as our place to play is gonna be great.”
However,Joan and Chock aren’t in a hurry to get married. As Joan shared,“That’s TBD. Right now, it just feels good to just be a couple and not have cameras all around and just to hang out and be us for a little while. So I think in a year-ish.”
