The first factors are team composition, ability tracking, and target priority.Regardless of mode, it is helpful to have a diverse team of rolesthat can tank, deal damage, and support each other. In duos, it is a little easier to get away with not building tanks and skipping a support role, but that does leave a team squishy.
Ability tracking can be hard to manage but is a huge boon. By knowing what Hunters do, and even how long before they can do it again,you’re able to strategically avoid damage while dealing your ownwhen an opponent cannot counter. This goes hand in hand with target priority. By prioritizing the damage dealers or support units, the rest of the team is left without a key part of their strategy. Whereas, if everyone is focusing on a different target, or the tank who wants to absorb all the damage, a fight is less likely to go well.
Armor is a key part of survival in the game, but has many functions that aren’t outright told to players.Armor gives a flat damage reduction based on the tier. This makes getting the highest tier armor possible beneficial, but also making sure to give it to the Hunter who most needs it. Players can repair armor in numerous ways besides at shops, as the tutorial says. Two lifesaving ways includepicking up armor repairs from dead Huntersorlooting another Hunter’s armor, which will be replenished to the max.

Outside these topics, there are a handful of other small tips to take note of. First, always be aware when gliding off the map;getting hit means being instantly killed by a Spike into the void. Second, when a Hunter is defeated, their body will become a small flying Wisp. This wisp can be revived by teammates or finished by enemies. Items are an essential feature ofSUPERVIVE. They give Hunters bonus stats and an extra effect.
