Adams is an accomplished TV actor best known for his work on the hit television seriesSuits.The Madison, on the other hand, is aYellowstonespinoff series about a New York family’s life that falls apart after they experience a tragedy, leading them to process their grief as they vacation in rural Montana. In August, it was announced that Adams wouldstar inThe Madison.
In an interview withCollider, Adams reacts to being cast inThe Madison. When asked how he feels about joining theYellowstoneuniverse,Adams notes that “intense is a good word.“He admittedly could not reveal many details aboutThe Madisonitself, because the show is so early in the process. Intense is a good word. What’s a better word? I can’t say much about the show itself yet because we’re a ways from it being into the world, but the process of it is so dialed. Obviously, Taylor is a prolific and profoundly talented writer, but the world that he has created with the people that work on his shows, the crews and the people who have now been a part of that world and understand how to make television at that size and scope and depth, is profound.

While Adams reveals very little aboutThe Madison’s plot itself, the actor does seem to indicate that Sheridan is deeply involved in this project. With all the works that he has created, Sheridan’s involvement in projects he has created has ranged from being deeply involved as a showrunner to having a looser overseeing role. ForTulsa King, for example, Sheridan was primarily involved in the pilot before giving showrunner Terrence Winter more control. However,Sheridan has either written or co-written every episode in theYellowstoneuniverse, so his deep involvement inThe Madisonis not a surprise.
