Suits L.A.gets a new update from star Stephen Amell, who confirms in a new behind-the-scenes video that filming has started. Airing from 2011 to 2019,Suitswas a success, but it recently experienced a major resurgence in popularity thanks to its availability on Netflix. The world of the show is now set to expand with theSuits: L.A.spinoff, which hails from original show creator Aaron Korsch and follows Amell’s Ted Black, a former New York City prosecutor, as he opens a firm in L.A. focusing on criminal and entertainment law.

Amellnow shares a new video from theSuits: L.A.set, confirming thatfilming on the spinoff show is now underway. Though Amell’s video appears to be filmed from inside his trailer, which means it doesn’t feature a look at any of the show’s sets, it does provide a new look at the actor’s appearance for the show, which includes gray hair and a black dress shirt. Suits: L.A.doesn’t yet have an official release date, butfilming now being underway means it will likely premiere at some point in 2025. Unlike the original show, which aired on USA Network, the spinoff will be airing on NBC. It will seemingly be taking after its predecessor in terms of episode count, however, with season 1 expected to feature 10 episodes in total, just asSuitshad in its season 1.Suitsjumped to 16-episode seasons starting with season 2, and it’s possible the spinoff will follow this trend if it ends up being successful.
