Players finally have answers to their questions as the studio has officially parted the curtains on its next game and it looks as intimidating as ever.
Over onYouTube, a teaser trailer was unveiled as a part of the Xbox Partner Preview showcase, and while the cinematic footage doesn’t give away much in terms of gameplay, it does hint at some fun twists.
The sequel will sport multiplayer, allowing up to four users to dive into the alien ocean together to build bases, study the wildlife, and sink deeper into the abyss to see exactly what lies on the bottom of the sea.Subnautica 2also takes place on an entirely new planet, one that’s filled with new biomes, creatures, and underwater behemoths looking for prey;The game launches into early-access in 2025.
