Warning! This post contains SPOILERS for Star Wars: Inquisitors #3
Star Wars’newest Order 66 survivor is giving Cal Kestis a run for his money.During the Dark Times of theStar Warstimeline, Darth Vader’s Imperial Inquisitors were sent out across the galaxy to track down any surviving Jedi Knights to either turn them to the dark side or eliminate them in the name of the Empire. However, one of these survivors has been proving himself to be quite elusive, while also displaying a rare boldness in the face of Vader’s lethal Jedi hunters.
As seen in Marvel Comics' new and canonicalStar Wars: Inquisitors #3by Rodney Barnes and Ramon Rosanas, Tensu Run and his fellow Jedi survivor Pan Delesec face two Inquisitors simultaneously. As the leader of a growing Jedi resistance network offering hope to those who’d been oppressed by the Empire,Tensu Ren had long been the Empire’s most wanted target. However, the Grand Inquisitor’s recent murder of Tensu’s master has motivated Run to start facing the Inquisitors head-on rather than continuing to hide in the shadows, and this includes the Seventh and Ninth Sisters in this new issue:

While Tensu Run has earned some impressive victories lately, his resolve at the end of this new issue to face Darth Vader himself seems incredibly rash and ill-advised. Nevertheless,Tensu Run’s successes are quite a testament to his prowess as a Jedi Knight in theStar Warscanon.
Tensu Run’s Latest Duels Were With The Seventh and Ninth Sisters
He’s Already Defeated The Fifth Brother
Remarkably, Tensu leaps from the Seventh Sister to the Ninth and back again in this new issue. Together, Run and Delesec emerge the victors, wounding both Inquisitors while leaving them alive to live with their failures and report back to their master. The same was true in the previous issue whenRun tracked down and bested the Fifth Brotherin combat.
Star Wars Movies In Order: How To Watch Release Order, Chronologically & With The TV Shows
What’s the best way to watch Star Wars? Here’s everything you need to know to watch in release or timeline order, and how to include the TV shows.
Making fools of the three Imperial Inquisitors he’s faced thus far, it stands to reason that Vader will have no choice but to face the Order 66 survivor himself in the next issue. While this is exactly what Tensu seems to be hoping for, it seems like a very bad idea considering the known power of Darth Vader and his future in theStar Warstimeline, whereas the likelihood of Tensu Run meeting his demise sooner rather than during the Dark Times feels incredibly high. That said, it’s quite impressive that Run has so far taken on and soundly beaten three Imperial Inquisitors.

Cal Kestis Would Be Proud Of Tensu Run
Even If The New Order 66 Survivor Is Likely Doomed
Ultimately,Tensu Run’s career fighting Inquisitors does bear a striking resemblance to Cal Kestis', the Order 66 survivor ofEA’sJedigames (Fallen OrderandSurvivor). After all, Cal Kestis has also dueled the Ninth Sister on more than one occasion, as well as the Second Sister. However, Cal barely survived his encounter with Darth Vader, and the mere fact that he lived and escaped the Dark Lord’s grip is quite impressive in and of itself.
“Run’s desire to face Darth Vader head-on will most likely result in either his death or perhaps even his corruption to the dark side…”

However, the fact that Tensu Run has since dueled and defeated three Inquisitors since his debut is quite a notable record (even by Cal’s standards). That said, Run’s desire to face Darth Vader head-on will most likely result in either his death or perhaps even his corruption to the dark side, potentially joining the Empire’s ranks as a new Inquisitor himself. After all,Tensu’s mission to hunt the Jedi hunters had resulted in some darker actionshe’s thus far kept hidden from his fellow survivors in this newStar Warsseries.
