In the newStar Warscanon,Luke Skywalker’s Jedi Templehas largely remained mysterious, only appearing in a few places – and in confusing ways. Because of the variety of mediums the temple has been depicted in, the temple’s grounds have never been firmly or consistently depicted. In a recentStar Warscomic, however, one major discrepancy surrounding the important location has been fixed.
During theNew Republic era, Luke, now a Jedi Master, built his training temple on the ancient world ofOssus. It was seen briefly in the sequel trilogy, during flashbacks inStar Wars:The Last Jedi, but not much more than that untilThe Book of Boba Fett.In that series, audiences got their first meaningful look at Ossus in live-action, but this is where the continuity issues begin.

Star Wars Has Shown Different Versions Of Luke’s Jedi Temple
Does Ossus Have Mountains Or Not?
InThe Last Jedi, Luke’s temple appearsin a clearing, surrounded by reeds, with a large, empty skybehind it. This is consistent with other depictions, mainly Charles Soule and Will Sliney’s work in theStar WarsandRise of Kylo Rencomic series. The Book of Boba Fett, meanwhile, depicts Ossus ascovered in lush, green mountains, mainly rising above the hut Luke buildsin that series.
This contradicts the wide open plains seen in every comic depiction since. This has caused fans to seriously wonder if the location inThe Book of Boba Fettis the same as Luke’s main temple. With seeds planted in the Kylo Ren comic short storySee You Around, Kidby Soule and Sliney, however, a newStar Warscomic has potentially given us all the answers we need about the confusing layout of Luke’s Jedi Temple grounds on Ossus.

See You Around, Kidcleared up some of the issues surrounding Luke’s Temple inThe Book of Boba FettandThe Rise of Kylo Ren, but didn’t completely reconcile them with depictions inThe Last Jedi.
The Latest Visit To Ossus Has Fixed The Different Versions
A Combination Of Bamboo & Plains

During this discussion, they walk from the main temple grounds, down into a bamboo forest, leading to a tree on a mountain top.
Luke’s Temple & Hut Are In Distant Locations Within Walking Distance
They descend past a perfectly drawn Jedi Temple, matchingThe Last JediandThe Rise of Kylo Ren, and into a bamboo forest, perfectly matchingThe Book of Boba Fett. At the mountain top, we see that in one direction, there are many more trees and mountains, whereas in the other, towards the temple, there are plains. This single story’s visuals tie together every canon depiction of Luke’s temple, making sense of them all and clearing up a longstandingStar Warsmystery surrounding Luke’s Ossus Jedi Temple.
