Despite her attempts to keep her emotions inside, the love she feels for her superior has caused several issues that threaten the success of Operation Strix. These problems stem mainly from the jealousy she feels towards Yor for being Loid’s wife. Her biggest desire is to take her place, prompting her to try and prove herself as the better woman.
It is this behavior that might endanger the mission, asFiona could soon join Yor in Melinda Desmond’s friend group. The wife of the series’ main antagonist, whomight have been a part of her husband’s experiments, has been a person of interest to W.I.S.E.’s agents for many years. They tried to find a way to get close to her, as she could hold vital information to stop Donovan. In chapter #67, Loid informs his apprentice that she might be asked to join Melinda’s inner circle to approach Donovan.

Loid and Yor’s fake family is one of the most wholesome parts of Spy x Family but the manga reveals it may be holding Loid back and even harming him.
A few entries earlier, during chapters #65 and #66, Yor managed to befriend the woman, becoming one of her close friends. If Fiona does indeed become a part of this group, her interactions with her love rival will become more frequent.This could completely jeopardize Operation Strix, as too many conflicting interests might collide. Not only would Loid have to worry about continuing his mission, but he would also have to look out for any conflict between Yor and Fionna, as well as Melinda and her family’s secrets. This might be enough to break even the best spy in the world.

Although Fiona is undoubtedly an incredibly dangerous fighter, she could not compete with Yor’s superhuman strength and determination.
Since then, their interactions have been kept to a minimum, preventing another major conflict from arising. Nevertheless, if they are forced to coexist during one of Melinda’s gatherings, a new issue could spark. Fiona has not given up on her mission to defeat Yor and could use her time near Donovan’s wife as an opportunity to surpass her rival. Doing so could make her either reveal her cover or make it hard for Melinda to reveal any relevant information about her husband’s plans.
Her jealousy could also reignite the feelings of inadequacy that Yor fought so hard to overcome.
