Spider man from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 with sad Peter Parker

Spider-Man 2 Left Fans With More Questions Than Answers

Some Players Thought Peter Parker Was Permanently Retired At The End Of Spider-Man 2

At theend ofMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, following the death of Harry Osborn, one scene shows Peter taking a step back from his Spider-Man duties to focus more on his personal life, passing the lead to Miles. That, along with the post-credits introduction of Cindy Moon (AKA Silk from the comics),led some players to believe that Peter Parker was retiring permanently, and the next game would feature Miles and Cindy as its two main protagonists.

While Peter’s break was never implied to be a permanent retirement, players will be happy to know that he’s still going to be an active part of the story heading into the next game. Many fans of the games, the comics, andSpider-Manas a franchise are particularly attached to Peter Parker, the original Spider-Man, and wouldn’t have wanted to see him sidelined in favor of other characters.
