One ofShonen Jump’s best artists is gearing up for a new series. Manga creator Boichi made quite the name for himself as the artist of the hit mangaDr. Stonewhich began roping in loyal fans upon its debut in 2017. With the manga complete, however, Boichi is looking to fill their schedule. Now, an exciting new series is on the horizon for the celebrated artist:a Western-themed manga series titledThe Marshal King.

Slated to launch on June 19, 2025,The Marshal Kingwill showcase Boichi’s signature art style fromDr. Stonebut in a dramatic Old West setting. Few details have been released about the series so far, but we know a few. For one, the manga will be published digitally through Shonen Jump+, and it will drop chapters every other week. Thousands of years later, high school student Taiju awakens to find himself surrounded by petrified statues. The boy reunites with his friend Senku who is a bonafide genius and science geek. It turns out Senku was awoken much earlier, and the two friends embark on a mission to rebuild civilization through the power of science. From the start, the manga masterfully blends adventure, survival, and scientific discovery, earning its dedicate fan base.
