Power’s criminal aspects and violent nature are a huge part of the franchise’s identity, but without having a major federal presence, there wouldn’t be nearly as much risk for the characters. Therefore, without law enforcement, the series wouldn’t be quite as memorable, proving whyForcehas to put more emphasis on the FBI.

Civilians have already got caught up in the bloodshed, but with things potentially getting even more brutal, Stacy and Bobby need to be even more ambitious in their attempts to take down the city’s major players.
