The latest Dynamax Pokémon to be introduced toPokémon GOas a Max Raid Boss is Dynamax Falinks. The Fighting- type Galar Pokémon is the latest Dynamax Raid Boss and provides possibly the toughest test since the new mechanic was introduced toPokémon GOfor the Max Out Season. However, if you’re able to defeat it, you will get the chance to add Dynamax Falinks to your Pokédex.
Dynamax Falinks is the latest tier three Max Battle Boss, which makes it harder than many of the others that are currently available, such as Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble, who are all tier one. All of the Max Battle Bossescan be tackled either on your own or with up to three other local players. While three-star Max Raids are much more difficult, it is possible to complete them on your own, but you will need to select a team of your own Dynamax Pokémon that are super-effective to have a chance of victory.

Dynamax Falinks Weaknesses In Pokémon GO
Psychic, Flying, And Fairy-Type Attacks Are Key
Like its standard version, Dynamax Falinks has three weaknesses:Psychic, Flying, and Fairy-type attacks. While normally there are plenty of options to pick from for each of these types, you can only use Dynamax Pokémon in Max Battles, meaning there are only a handful that you can select at this stage.
On the other side of the coin,Falinks resists and takes less damage from Bug, Dark and Rock- type attacks, so you should avoid using these types of Pokémon when trying to defeat it.

You can find Dynamax Falinks, along with the other Pokémon currently available in Max Battles, at Power Spots across thePokémon GOMap. You can now use the Nearby menu to see which Power Spots and which Dynamax Raid Pokémon are near your current location.
Once you have found aPower Spot containing a Max Raid Battlewith Dynamax Falinks, you will need to walk close to it as theyare only available in person, not remotely. It will cost you400 MPto face off against Dynamax Falinks, but this should easily be found on our travels as you’re able to collect MP by tapping on Power Spots or walking a set distance.

Best Counters For Dynamax Falinks
Beldum And Its Evolutions Can Dominate The Battle
While there are only a limited number of Pokémon that you can select currently for Max Battles, there are a couple of perfect choices that can be used against Dynamax Falinks. Thebest choice isDynamax Beldumwhich is a dual Steel/Psychic-type Pokémon.
After the initial intake of Generation One starter Pokémon, Beldum and its evolutions were added intoPokémon GOas the first tier three Max Battles. Dynamax Beldum is still in Max Battles, so if you haven’t defeated and captured one yet, it is advisable to do so before taking on Dynamax Falinks.

You can further increase your chances of victory by evolving Beldum into Metagross to make one of the strongest Pokémon, and best attackers, currently available in the new format. This is especially important if you are attempting to complete the tier three Max Raid Battle solo, as there is less margin for error. Once you have a Dynamax Metagross, you should make sure it knows a Psychic-type Fast Attack and Charge Attack so it has an advantage over Falinks.
To increase your chances of victory, you should include at least two Dynamax Metagross in your squad of three.
While in theory, you can use three Dynamax Metagross in your team, an alternative to fill out your squad isa Dynamax Charizard. This can be obtained by defeating a Dynamax Charmander in a Max Battle before evolving it to its final stage. While its base type, Fire, isn’t super-effective against Beldum, its secondary typing, Flying, is effective. If you equip the Gen One powerhouse with Flying-type attacks, it will also be able to take down Dynamax Falinks.
Pokémon GO Raid Boss Schedule For October 2024
There are loads of Raid Bosses to take on throughout October 2024, including Giratina, Darkrai, and Zamazenta, which makes its Shiny debut.
Once you have put the perfect squad together and defeated Dynamax Falinks, you will have the opportunity to catch it in the same way as other Pokémon defeated in Raid Battles. If you are successful, you will also gain further rewards, including XP, which can be doubled if you spend further in-game PokéCoins.
Dynamax Falinks offers the toughest test of the new Max Battles so far, but by using Metagross and Charizard, you can overpower it and add another Dynamax Pokémon to yourPokemon GOcollection.
