It is incredibly quick to charge, allowing you to remove enemy shields quickly and build up to its powerful charged moves such as Hydro Pump and Hydro Cannon.
Likewise, Primeape is incredibly fast and can combat many of the other key meta Pokémon that are commonly used. Clefable is a great third option for this team. It is comfortably the strongest Fairy-type for Ultra League and can take a lot of damage from the other heavy hitters.

It is also one of the bulkiest Pokémon for the event and can take damage while you wait to switch out to a better match-up.

Ultra League currently has a lot of meta options, so thankfully, there are a host of alternate teams you can use if you have other perfect IV Pokémon.Shadow Feraligatr can also be overpowered when matched up withDrapion and Electivire. Poison- and Dark-type Drapion combats a lot of options that don’t have as many weaknesses. It is also well-matched against Grass-type attacks, one of the Feraligatr’s key weaknesses. Electivire is included in case you come up against a team with their own Shadow Feraligatr, and like Primeape, it is quick to attack.
