Meanwhile, the Color Cup: Great League Edition requires your Pokémon to beat or below 1,500 CP.In addition, only Fire-, Water-, Grass-, and Electric-type Pokémon are eligible. This excludes many of thecurrent Raid Bossesavailable in January 2025. Here are the best teams for both sets of battles.

Best Pokémon Team For The Ultra League and Color Cup: Great League Edition
Dominate Your Opponents With The Strongest Teams
For the Ultra League, a great all-round team isShadow Feraligatr, Clefable, and Primeape. All three feature in the top five of thePvPoke’s Ultra League rankings and provide excellent cover for each other. Shadow Feraligatr has sat as the highest-rated Ultra League Pokémon inPokémon GOsince it gained the ability to have the Ghost-type move Shadow Claw as its fast attack. It is incredibly quick to charge, allowing you to remove enemy shields quickly and build up to its powerful charged moves such as Hydro Pump and Hydro Cannon.
Likewise, Primeape is incredibly fast and can combat many of the other key meta Pokémon that are commonly used. Clefable is a great third option for this team. It is comfortably the strongest Fairy-type for Ultra League and can take a lot of damage from the other heavy hitters.

Pokémon GO: Fidough Fetch Event & Rewards Guide
The Fidough Fetch event offers a host of great rewards for players in Pokémon GO including the debut of Fidough and its evolution, Dachsbun.
With a limit of 1,500 CP, many of the best Pokémon in thenormal Great League eventsremain dominant.Alolan Marowak is still one of the best Great League optionsinPokémon GO, and its dual Fire- and Ghost-types allow it to be used. It will dominate Grass-type Pokémon, but its Ghost-type attacks also can cause a lot of problems.

For the Color Cup, options are limited, but dual types are included, which must be used to increase your chance of victory.
Alolan Marowak’s one weakness is Water-type attacks, so including an Electric-type that you can switch to is important. There are several options, but a great one to consider isMorpeko. It is also a dual Dark-type, which isn’t weak to any of the four core types available for the Color Cup. For the final spot,Quagsire as a Water- and Ground-typecovers many other meta Pokémon. It is also one of the bulkiest Pokémon for the event and can take damage while you wait to switch out to a better match-up.
Best Alternate Teams To Use
Plenty Of Great Options To Switch In
Ultra League currently has a lot of meta options, so thankfully, there are a host of alternate teams you can use if you have other perfect IV Pokémon.Shadow Feraligatr can also be overpowered when matched up withDrapion and Electivire. Poison- and Dark-type Drapion combats a lot of options that don’t have as many weaknesses. It is also well-matched against Grass-type attacks, one of the Feraligatr’s key weaknesses. Electivire is included in case you come up against a team with their own Shadow Feraligatr, and like Primeape, it is quick to attack.
you’re able to either swap out the above for similar type options or combine them with different Pokémon.
ForPokémon GO’s Color Cup, it is vital to cover as many types as possible withQwilfish, another great dual Water-type that can be switched in for Quagsire. The majority of players will already have one in their storage, withQwilfish previously available in one-star raids.
The type the above team doesn’t include is Grass, as it struggles against the most popular Pokémon, Alolan Marowak, but if you do want to include one,Jumpluffis your best bet. It also has an advantage over the majority of popular Water- types in the Color Cup. Rounding out the team are Electric- and Flying-type LegendaryZapdos. It is still a powerhouse and has very limited weaknesses in this Cup.
There are many great options for both The Ultra League & Color Cup: Great League Edition inPokémon GO, but you can dominate battles by selecting teams that complement each other.
