The upcoming Twisted Childhood Universe (TCU) horror moviePinocchio: Unstrunghas a practical animatronic puppet that will bring about haunting dreams. Thestory ofPinocchio: Unstrungfeatures a darker take on the beloved puppet, following the story of Geppetto’s grandson, James, who discovers the haunting puppet. This leads to a slasher bloodbath, with the titular character at the center of it all. The movie will directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield, who previously directed theWinnie-the-Pooh: Blood & Honeymovies that are part of the same horror universe.
Now,poohbandh, the official Twitter/X account of the TCU, has posteda video showing off the practical animatronic puppet being used for Pinocchio inPinocchio: Unstrung. The realistic-looking puppet can be seen moving its mouth and head around in an uncanny fashion. Another angle reveals its human-like eyes, which stare piercingly out from the wood-like head.
