InZOIis one of the most demanding games out there right now, and finding the best balance is about what your hardware can handle and what you may do. The game feels alive, and the graphics are great, but that is becauseInZOIdemands a lot of processing power from your PC. While the graphics will totally change how the game looks, you’re going to see a lot more stuttering if your Simulation and Gameplay settings are not set right. Despitehitting major sales milestones, in its early access state, the game isn’t quite fully developed enough to give you the best settings by default.

The Sims 4 may have released a long time ago, but the EA game does a lot of things better than InZOI, which was released very recently.
Keep in mind that there’s no way to test the graphics without playing the game. Unfortunately, you’re just going to have to go back and forth until it works right. FPS doesn’t matter as much for simulation games, butkeeping the graphics as they are below did not give me any noticeable issues. If you see issues or you think your PC can handle more, feel free to use this as a base and adjust from there.

It’s important to understand that not every game needs an FPS higher than 30 or 45. That’s important for games where your reaction matters a lot, like fighting or FPS games, but it’s not essentialto games that don’t require high FPS, so you don’t need to waste your processing power on it. In a similar fashion to movies and TV recorded or animated at 24 FPS, lower framerates aren’t distracting when you’re just watching. Unless framerate is always your priority, I wouldn’t worry about hitting 60 FPS or above here.

While these are the differences between the CPU, GPU, and RAM, you want to keep a good balance with what you’re asking your PC to do. Always have balance in your settings and use fans on your tower or laptop. I keep my settings as they are below because the result feels realistic: I never notice a lack of people, and I never lose immersion. In your Simulation menu, adjust the following:
Animation Quality

Do not mess with Animation Quality without knowing what it does. This sets how much time your CPU has to calculate the animations per frame. This is set to 3ms because you will notice if it’s set lower, but not if it’s set higher.Setting this higher than 3ms is not something you’ll notice unless you’re trying to study the movement, which you won’t be. Raising Animation Quality will just tank your FPS, and it’s not worth it.

I have noticed that if I play for too long, the game starts getting slower and starts experiencing issues. The best thing to do when you’re facing issues that seemingly come up out of nowhere isto restart your computer. That seems like an overused tip, but it has lasted the test of time because your computer is storing so much information temporarily that it likely doesn’t need and restarting will clear that information.
I also try not to play with a bunch of other applications running.
