OneStar Warsprequel-era Jedi Master hadForce powersthat made her perhaps a more dangerous pilot than even Anakin Skywalker. Of course, Anakin Skywalker is the finest Jedi pilot of his era and one of the greatest in galactic history, but there are pilots whose skills and abilities rival even his. These include his son, Luke Skywalker, and two other Jedi from the prequel era: Jedi Masters Saesee Tiin and Adi Gallia, with the latter possessing unique Force abilities that make her stand apart from other Jedi aces.

Jedi aces were an official discipline in the old Jedi Order and the New Jedi Order in theStar WarsLegends continuity. A sub-discipline of the combat-focused Jedi Guardians, Jedi aces honed their piloting skills alongside their Force abilities, often integrating the two. The New Jedi Order’s Jedi aces were the only pilots fit for flying StealthX fighters – which required telepathic communication to maintain discretion – but Adi Gallia had perhaps the most impressive uses of the Force while flying her Delta-7Jedi Starfighter.

Can You Name These Jedi Adi Gallia

Adia Gallia’s Force Powers Made Her An Incredibly Dangerous Pilot

The 2002 video gameStar Wars: Jedi Starfighteruses the notion ofcombining Force abilities with starfighter combatto create innovative gameplay, but it also added fascinating new lore to theStar WarsLegends continuity. Jedi Master Adi Gallia is one of the game’s two protagonists, and she has four Force powers that make her a force to be reckoned with in her Delta-7 Jedi Starfighter. Jedi Master Saesee Tiin is all but confirmed to have similar abilities, but within the context of Jedi Starfighter, Adi Gallia is the only one to deploy them.

Star Wars' Most Amazing X-Wing Was A Starfighter Only Jedi Could Fly

In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the New Jedi Order’s Jedi Starfighter is an amazing X-wing variant that only a Jedi can fly effectively.

Adi Gallia’s Force-enhanced reflexes are shown from her perspective inJedi Starfighter, making the environment around her seem to slow down and allowing her to do otherwise impossible evasive and offensive maneuvers. Gallia can also create powerful shields around her starfighter and release massive, destructive waves of Force energy from her craft. Adi Gallia can even perform a form of Force lightning – different from the dark side version used by Sith and even the Jedi variant known as Electric Judgment –chaining bolts of energy to make short work of enemy fighter squadrons.

Even Anakin Skywalker Didn’t Share Adi Gallia’s Powers

WhileAnakin Skywalker is the better pilot, he has not been shown using the Force in starfighter combat the same way as Adi Gallia. Anakin Skywalker’s piloting feats, like most Jedi aces, are shown to be a combination of raw skill and Force-enhanced reflexes. Whether or not she is the best Jedi ace in theStar Warsfranchise, Adi Gallia made the most of the discipline, using the Force in the most inventive ways while flying her Jedi Starfighter.
