A Major Calamity Brings All 3 Crews Together

This crossover marks the first major event between all three shows since 2019’s “Infection” trilogy, which saw flesh-eating bacteria run rampant across the city as the CDC got involved. It’s also the first crossover between any of the shows since 2020, withChicago Fireseason 8, episode 15, “Off the Grid,” andChicago P.D.season 7, episode 15, “Burden of Truth.” Given the shows are much farther along in their runs, it will likely result innew tandems across theOne Chicagouniverse, especially for new characters on all three of the teams.

Chicago P.D. Season 12 New Cast & Returning Character Guide

With one character gone from the Intelligence unit, another is introduced during Chicago PD season 12, while many other actors and actresses return.

Two characters being trapped offers a dire situation for everyone on the crew, especially if it’s people who’d participated in 2019’s crossover that all the older characters would know. While it’s unclear if the trapped characters are from thecast ofChicago Fire,P.D., orMed, their dire situation is still going to force everyone else to work fast and efficiently to save them. With 38 other people trapped too, it’s going to make for a massive job, something that can help the upcoming crossover live up to Puglisi’s hype.

Our Take On One Chicago’s Upcoming Crossover Event

It’s Promising A Thrilling Crossover Between Major Characters

The upcoming crossover will beOne Chicago’s biggest event in six years, emphasized by the danger and tension inevitable to whatever unfolds. Since the three shows will finally be coming back together after so long, it can help strengthen ties between them that have grown looser since the last time they were together. But, with the event promising plenty of high-octane sequences, it can help kick off the year right for all three series.
