TheHulkfrequently smashes the line between “good” and “bad.” He’s the strongest Avenger and, in turns, a serious threat to the world, but one strange alien encounter led to the green giant making a truly irredeemable decision. When Hulk andFantastic Four’s Thinghad a chance to make two wishes, potentially improving the fate of the whole planet, he squandered the chance forever.

They could have rid the Earth of disease, solved world hunger, or instantly removed any number of other calamities the planet faces; instead,Hulk showed the depth of his selfish nature and short-sightedness as he threw away both world-altering wishes for food and a return trip home.

From the moment the two heavy-hitters were whisked away, they were caught in a misadventure. Yet, despite the bizarre circumstances, they were given an incomprehensible opportunity to save the world in a way no one has ever managed. Ben Grimm was planning to do just that. Marvel Confirms 1 MCU Hero Can Overpower Hulk Without Breaking a Sweat

The Hulk is not the strongest Marvel Comics superhero in the MCU, as he was just defeated by another hero, who took the Hulk down like it was nothing.

Blaming Hulk may be unfair, as he isn’t prone to planning, or complex thought, and it’s clear he didn’t think beyond his immediate needs. That doesn’t erase the fact that he could’ve eliminated devastating diseases like cancer or put an end to war. At the very least, he could have given Ben Grimm the chance to speak, too, and at least use one of the two wishes. There are few details about Malelet’s power but given how quickly he can transport them home, the opportunity was genuine. Unfortunately, it was also genuinely wasted in Hulk’s most selfish and irredeemable moment.
