Deadpoolis perhaps the most versatile character in Marvel Comics history, mostly thanks to the fact that he can break the fourth wall and seemingly bend the universe to his whims through ‘cartoon logic’ - even if he wants to do something crazy like killGalactus. However, Wade Wilson actually did kill Galactus at one point, and he didn’t use any meta ability to do it.
InDeadpool Kills the Marvel Universe#4 by Cullen Bunn and Dalibor Talajić,Deadpool is continuing his crusade against every Marvel Comics character. In this story arc, Deadpool realizes that he and every other Marvel character are nothing more than works of fiction who will never be allowed to die despite never truly being alive to begin with. This thought drives Wade Wilson utterly insane, so he seeks to free his fellow fictitious prisoners from their shackles by killing all of them. And, in this final issue of the four-issue miniseries, Deadpool has his sights set on Galactus.

The issue opens with a number of characters dying/committing suicide inexplicably, and without an ounce of fight or self-preservation. It’s then revealed that Deadpool is controlling all of them via puppets created by the Puppet Master. When the Punisher kills Puppet Master (thinking he was Deadpool) and Deadpool uses Punisher’s puppet to end his life, Wade Wilson then picks up a puppet of Galactus to do the same to the Devourer of Worlds. But first, Deadpool uses Galactus to kill some other cosmic powerhouses, like Nova, Silver Surfer, and Thanos, beforefinally killing Galactushimself.
Deadpool Uses a Galactus Puppet Created by Puppet Master to Kill the Devourer of Worlds
Deadpool’s Methods are Shockingly Brilliant, & Can Be Used by Anyone
When Deadpool is facing a foeas cosmically powerful as Galactus, fans might assume that he’d call upon the ‘cartoon logic’ Deadpool is famous for utilizing in certain stories. It’s not like Deadpool could actually stand a chance against Galactus, as the Devourer of Worlds would atomize him with the Power Cosmic before Deadpool could make his first move. However, Deadpool doesn’t use ‘cartoon logic’ to beat this foe, nor does he get atomized. Instead, he actually comes up with a pretty brilliant way to take Galactus down.
If the Puppet Master could create a powerful enough puppet of Galactus, then there’d be nothing the Devourer of Worlds could do to fight off its influence. Galactus would be forced to do whatever the person controlling him commanded, including what he did inDeadpool Kills the Marvel Universe- that being killing other cosmic characters before taking his own life. While this happens in a comic that’s essentially a ‘What If?’, this is something that could conceivably happen in Marvel’s main continuity, and it could be done by anyone with access to Puppet Master’s puppets - not just Deadpool.

This Isn’t the First Time Deadpool’s Been a Pain in the Neck for Galactus
Deadpool Becomes Galactus’ Annoying Herald inDeadpool Team-Up#883 by Skottie Young and Ramón Pérez
Deadpool seems to be a fairly consistent pain in the neck for Galactus in the Marvel Universe, not just because Wade knows how to kill him, but also when Deadpool wants to align himself with the Devourer of Worlds. InDeadpool Team-Up#883,Deadpool becomes Galactus’ Herald, and he annoys the cosmic world-killer to no end. In fact, Deadpool ends up getting himself fired, as Galactus can’t stand to be around him another second. The horrors of ending trillions of lives? That’s easy. Being around Deadpool for more than a day? Impossible.
Deadpool’s Extreme, Shapeshifting Redesign Gave Him the Most Creative Version of His Healing Factor Yet
An incredible redesign in Space: Punisher gave Deadpool an updated healing factor that made him deadlier than any variant that came before him.
WhileGalactus found Deadpool unbearably annoyingwhen Wade became his Herald, it’s fair to say that Galactus would find that preferable to being killed by Deadpool in a way that eliminated the possibility of fighting back. Indeed,Deadpoolfigured out Galactus’ weakness, and not only is it effective, it’s something that can be used againstGalactusat any point and by anyone in Marvel Comics.
