According to a now-deleted post, later shared to Reddit, LEGO will have the rights to makePokémon-themed sets beginning in 2026. A video posted to LEGO Mexico’s Facebook page and then quickly deleted showedyellow and pale brown LEGO blocks coming together to create the iconic lightning-shaped Pikachu tail.No further details were provided about the collaboration, although we can likely expect a robust lineup of products given the size of LEGO’s Super Mario set. As a LEGO fanatic and a lifelongPokémonfan, this is the one collaboration I’ve been desperately waiting to see. The Mega Construx lines had some cool sets,but Mega Blocks often have fiddly parts and customized blocks that just aren’t elegant in the same way the specialized LEGO blocks are.I personally will be on the hook for all of thePokémonLEGO sets and I’m sure there are millions of fans who feel the same way.
