Well, I mean, as long as there are stories to tell, I would love to keep telling them. And I think we really just skinned the surface on our first season, and that’s saying something because they cover a lot of ground. So yeah, I hope we keep telling these stories for a while.
Could Landman Become Another Sheridan Hit?
The Series Can Achieve Yellowstone Levels Of Success
Sheridan, who wroteSicarioandHell or High Water, has found success in creating television series, most notably intheYellowstonefranchise. Increasing viewership over the years led to the neo-Western about land conflict becoming one of the most popular shows around. IfLandmanpreserves some of that audience and has a similarly gripping focus, along with well-rounded characters, it can potentially replicate the achievements ofYellowstone. It already benefits from releasing on the same streaming platform, and early praise, as evidenced by the fresh Rotten Tomatoes score, could indicate thatLandmanis capable of a long run.
Taylor Sheridan’s New Yellowstone Replacement Sounds Better Than His Sequel Plan
Taylor Sheridan will soon debut his Yellowstone replacement, and based on the show’s first look, it’ll work much better than Sheridan’s original plan.
Sheridan’s attachment may draw audiences familiar withYellowstoneor other projects, but the cast ofLandmanwill be another compelling factor, in terms of viewership.Thornton has been nominated for multiple Academy Awards, and both he and John Hamm garnered particular recognition for their respectiveFargoseasons. Demi Moore, known forGhostandA Few Good Men, among other films, has also been celebrated as of recently for her performance inThe Substance.TheLandmantrailerreveals a quick look at their characters, amid gloomy scenarios, and suggests they will be an entertaining trio to watch.

Thorton will play Tommy Norris, while Hamm and Moore portray married couple Monty and Cami Miller, respectively.
