One of the more popular (if divisive) shōnen in recent years is stirring headlines thanks to an upcoming trailer.Fire Forceis among Kodansha’sWeekly Shōnen Magazine’s most successful offerings in recent years, and its anime adaptation has become quite beloved—Fire Forceis the97th most popular entry onMyAnimeListas of the time of writing, with nearly 1.4 million members following it. Those many fans will be elated to hear that the series is ready to bring season three’s trailer to life. The reveal went live online after fans noticed Crunchyroll shared the new ahead of a major convention.
The last season of the anime concluded in December 2020, meaning the announcement follows almost four years without any updates for the show. Having ended at the very beginning of the series' “Stigma” arc, fans can expect to be thrown right back into the action and suspense where the series left off. Although the trailer in question hasn’t been released yet, every detail is in place for its future drop, and things are well underway forFire Force’s return in April 2025with the first of four blocks spaced out until 2026.

Crunchyroll’s Brazilian section released a post on July 28, 2025 promoting the 2024 Comic-Con Experience in São Paulo, to be held between December 5 and 8. The post alludes to many announcements expected for the upcoming convention, but of particular note is the announcement of the third season trailers forFire ForceandZenshu. Originally in Portuguese, the relevant paragraph (via Google Translate) reads:
Crunchyroll will be hosting panels for some of today’s most popular series, including Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Solo Leveling, Kaiju No. 8, and more! Additionally, Crunchyroll will be bringing in some of the team at MAPPA, the studio behind hits like JUJUTSU KAISEN and Attack on Titan: The Final Season, to talk about their work.Crunchyroll’s industry panel will also feature several announcements, as well as reveal new trailers for the third season of Fire Force and ZENSHU.
This follows the release of the first trailer back in July 2024, shown above, which was criticized forrevealing one ofFire Force’s biggest plot twists. The news is huge for fans ofFire Force, but also carries some other implications for the industry.
