The comic and animated show featureseighteen different alternate reality versionsof Invincible, each with their own distinct personality and costume. Among the fan-favorite standouts is Hoodvincible, notable for the hood-like veil he sports – which bears a striking similarity tothe Wildstorm character Grifter– his his penchant for profanity. Invincible’s Apocalyptic ‘THE INVINCIBLE WAR’ Is Impossible to Adapt Without Huge Changes
The Invincible War was a huge event in the original Invincible comics, but it will be almost impossible to adapt for the Amazon TV series.
The latest episode ofInvincibleSeason 3 adapts the fan-favorite"Invincible War" story, which involves numerous evil alternate reality versions of the titular hero invading the Earth. Despite taking place within only a single, voversized issue, the comic book version of the storyis it’s a nonstop slugfest that doesn’t skimp on the action. Unsurprisingly, the same holds true for the animated series adaptation –except fans aren’t pleased that Hoodvincible didn’t have a larger role in the episode, and they’re making it known on social media.

Don’t Give Up Hope Entirely Yet, Hoodvincible Fans
A Return Could Happen
Of course, there is the slim possibility of the popular character’s survival. After teaming up to battle Invincible and Atom Eve, Hoodvincible and Omnivincible seemingly have the two heroes on the ropes right before the timely arrival of theGlobal Defense Agency’s ReAnimen, which allows them to escape. Given that they aren’t seen again in the episode, it’s safe to presume that the ReAnimen put a permanent end to both Hoodvincible and Omnivincible –though the off-screen nature of this ending leaves open the door to a return. in future episodes of theInvincibleseries.
