One majorMCUhero’s future seems even more uncertain to me after a huge Disney+ change and with no sign of a possibleShe-Hulk: Attorney at Lawseason 2. Dozens of incredible and powerful Marvel Comics characters have been adapted into live-action in the years since the debut of the MCU with 2008’sIron Man. Most recently, Deadpool, Wolverine and Agatha Harkness have been highlighted in theMCU’s Phase 5, but the success of their respective projects has reminded us that not every recent MCU hero has been so lucky.

Marvel Studios has introduced manynew heroes in the MCUsince the start of the Multiverse Saga, though many still have uncertain futures and haven’t yet been seen since their first appearances. This includes some of the franchise’s most significant new characters, such as Shang-Chi, Moon Knight, the Eternals, Shuri’s Black Panther and Echo. One of my favorite new MCU heroes isTatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters, a.k.a. She-Hulk, butshe is also among those who have uncertain future in the MCU, and this has just been made even worse.

Disney+’s Newest Banner Change Continues To Make She-Hulk’s MCU Future Look Unclear

She-Hulk Has Been Replaced In Marvel’s Disney+ Banner

Due to disappointing visual effects and a great deal of unfounded “woke” criticisms,She-Hulk: Attorney at Lawdidn’t fare so well upon its release in 2022 as part of the MCU’s Phase 4. This has unfortunately caused radio silence in the conversation regarding a possibleShe-Hulk: Attorney at Lawseason 2, even though the show’s legal comedy format is perfect for TV. This has me very worried about She-Hulk’s future in the MCU, andthe fact that Jennifer Walters has now been replaced in Marvel’s Disney+ banner has only increased my concern.

She-Hulk previously stood proudly next to Loki and behind Yelena Belova in Marvel’s Disney+ banner, but she has now been replaced by Deadpool in the wake ofDeadpool & Wolverine’shuge success. Of course,Deadpool joining the MCU is an event that deserves celebrating, but the fact that this has come at the expense and erasure of one of the MCU’s most formidable new female heroes is disappointing and concerning. This only seems to highlight how much Marvel Studios want to forget She-Hulk, which is a dire shame.

I’m Truly Not Sure What To Expect When It Comes To She-Hulk’s MCU Future

I Want She-Hulk To Return To The MCU

Ever since the finale ofShe-Hulk: Attorney at Lawjoked about Jennifer Walters being omitted from upcoming MCU movies on the big-screen, I’ve been worried that She-Hulk would actually find herself being neglected. In Marvel Comics,She-Hulk is a central member of the Avengers and one of the most significant heroes, so it’s a shame that this has not been translated into the MCU, especially with a remarkable talent such as Tatiana Maslany in the role. I would loveShe-Hulk to return to the MCU, but after these recent updates, I really don’t know whether this will actually happen.
