As a result, you may be grinding for hours against some of the game’s toughest enemies just to never receive the item you want.
Why Is Hyrri’s Ire Good?
Evade Attacks And Spells From Enemies
There are many reasons why Hyrri’s Ire is as good as it is, starting with the fact thatit grants the wearer a 10% chance to dodge Attacks and Spell Damage. This can create an extremely evasive character build that avoids taking a majority of damage during most fights. Classes like theMonk inPath of Exile 2or other archetypes with high mobility or evasiveness are made much stronger with this Unique.
Anyone with high Dexterity will get the most use out of Hyrri’s Ire. The passive effect of the Unique armor stacks with Phase Acrobatics and regular Acrobatics Keystones, allowing characters to reach absurd levels of evasive movement.
Previous versions of Hyrri’s Ire also gave characters additional cold damage to attacks from bows, which still remains after several updates. Youget very high Cold damage on bowsalong withincreased Chill Duration on enemieswith this armor, alongside a general boost to your character’s Dexterity stat. Hyrri’s Ire is an item you have the best chances to find during the Atlas postgame when you have access to many different opportunities for Unique drops. Here are some basic strategies you may follow to try and find Hyrri’s Ire or other Unique pieces of gear:

I’ve always found the most reliable method for farmingUniques inPath of Exile 2like Hyrri’s Ire comes from grinding out Boss fights, especially against tougher foes. For example, fighting a Boss from an endgame area that is one or two levels below your character will create an easier fight that still rewards you with good loot and XP.
Spending Gold with a Gambling vendor gives you a way to gain Unqiues by spending money, but this is an expensive method. Mythics and Uniques are rare from Gambling NPCs, so try not to spend too much money searching for an impossible drop.
AnOrb of Chanceis an extremely rare currency used to upgrade normal items into Unique ones.Hyrri’s Ire has a chance of being made when you use an Orb to empower a Zodiac Leather base item, but this may not work 100% of the time. I’ve found that Orbs of Chance have a small chance of destroying items they are used on, so there is a risk to using these rare items.
It will take some trial and error to get the Unique you want, but repetition will at least get you some other good gear pieces. Once you have Hyrri’s Ire inPath of Exile 2, you can get your character to take far less damage through evasive passive skills and start freezing anyone who stands in their way.
