AlthoughNewtopiais mostly about zombies, it’s also a romance. With this in mind, the K-drama will likely combine fantasy with a heartwarming love story between Young-ju and Jae-yun. Since Young-ju drops everything and puts her life in danger to save the man she loves, the couple will likely end up being together, assuming both of them survive the zombie outbreak. But before she gets to him, she might have to face a few challenges — and possibly find allies to work with if she is going to succeed. Alternatively,the fantasy K-dramacould have a different trajectory.
Since zombie K-dramas are not usually that straightforward, there will likely be a few speedbumps along the way.Either Young-ju or Jae-yun could end up getting infected, and the other person might have to look for a cure.
