The Overwatch World Cup Top 16 groups are set for BlizzCon 2023. Here’s the pairings, as well as some predictions for each group.

The top Overwatch squads in the world are on a collision course for BlizzCon. With online qualifiers going on throughout the summer we finally know which of the top 16 countries will meet at BlizzCon in theOverwatch World Cupplayoffs.Revealed today on the OWWC website, the group pairings very much give an idea of how the competition will shake down.

What countries are in the Top 16 for Overwatch World Cup 2023?

Here’s your Overwatch World Cup BlizzCon groups for the upcoming end of the 2023 tournament.

Now, there’s obviously favorites in each group of the Top 16. It’s hard to not immediately boil this down to Korea, Canada, China,and USA. However, there are some dark horses at work in the pairings and some potential surprises. Great Britain and Australia both have strong players, and the KSA region has its own meta that could potentially shock the world.

But, uh… Not Group A, though. Sorry, lads. That might as well have a shipping label on it that says “KOREA: Send directly to Overwatch World Cup Top 16 at BlizzCon.” We’ll see how the top eight and top four shake out across what looks to be a busy weekend in Anaheim. Is the destined Grand Finals of Korea and USA bound to happen? Will someone make a surprise move?
