Farming the Quenepa Berry locations inGenshin Impactis a crucial step if you want to fully Ascend certain characters in the game and get them to level 90. Quenepa Berries are one of the many different new resources implemented into the game with the region of Natlan. In fact, they serve the sole purpose of allowing certainNatlan characters inGenshin Impactto Ascend. These are Local Specialties and, because of their categorization, Quenepa Berries are very limited on the map when it comes to the number of pluckable nodes to obtain them from.

Furthermore, as is the case with all other Local Specialties in the game, Quenepa Berries have a 48-hour countdown on their respawn timer, meaning that you will need to wait two full days in real life before grabbing an item from the same farming node. Characters usually use a lot of Local Specialities, which in turn makes the farming process last around a week. To optimize your time, it is best to farm all Quenepa Berries in Natlan in a run, thus allowing you to avoid having to farm an extra time forKachina’s materials inGenshin Impact, for instance.

All Quenepa Berry Locations In Genshin Impact (Farming Spots)

There Is A Limited Number Of Items On The Map

In total, there are only 33 copies of Quenepa Berries across the Natlan map, according to the official interactive map onHoYoLAB. Their nodes are spread across four major clusters near the Coatepec Mountain region. The first copies can be found on the road northeast of the Ancestral Temple. Only a few are obtainable here, but given the scarcity, it is best to head to the region and farm these Quenepa Berries. There is a nearby Teleport Waypoint overlooking the four Quenepa Berries inGenshin Impact. From there, you will want to head west.

The next major cluster of Quenepa Berries is located on the Teticpac Peak. There are multiple nodes of these Local Specialties, mostly near the water bodies, with two of them overlooking the Scions of the Canopy tribe. Still part of this larger cluster area few more Quenepa Berries located in the river just west of the Scions of the Canopy tribe. There is one loose Quenepa Berry at the entrance of a cave south of the tribe, which appears in the multi-layered version of theinteractive map inGenshin Impact.

Genshin Impact 5.1 Livestream: Date, Time, Characters, & What To Expect

The livestream for Genshin Impact 5.1’s contents should occur soon, following the game’s regular schedule, and there is a lot in store for the update.

A smaller cluster of Quenepa berries is just northwest of the Scions of the Canopy, on the other side of the canyon’s river. There are only four copies. These are easily accessible through the nearby Statue of the Seven, which is just a bit northwest of their locations. The last group is northeast of this cluster, and you will be able to claim them by sticking near the riverside inGenshin Impact.

Quenepa Berries are fairly easy to see due to their bright blue coloring, so it should not be too hard to distinguish them from afar.

Most of these Quenepa Berries are easily accessible above ground and near the river that runs west of Tepeaca Rise. In total, you should be able to claim seven of them while exploring. There is, however,a hidden batch of Quenepa Berries in a nearby cave. South of the blue-colored tree is an entrance to this cave. It is, however, blocked by an NPC named Tisoc. You will not be able to enter the cave if you do not follow his prompts, so you may miss out on three Quenepa Berries.

You need to accomplish the first steps in the Ripe for Trouble World Quest inGenshin Impactto gain access to the cave.

To increase your precision when farming Quenepa Berries,it is recommended that you use Mualani or Kachina while exploring. This is because both of these characters have passive skills that make the location of nearby resources, exclusive to Natlan, appear on your mini-map. As such, running around the clusters of Quenepa Berries while using these characters will prompt the location of the nodes to appear, making it much easier to find and farm them.

What Quenepa Berries Are Used For In Genshin Impact

The Local Specialty Is Used In Character Ascension

As was previously mentioned, Quenepa Berries are a Local Speciality used as Ascension materials for specific Natlan characters. As of Version 5.0, only Kachina uses Quenepa Berries in her Ascension, though more units from the Nation of Pyro may have Quenepa Berries listed among their Ascension materials in the future. Based on leaks,Xilonen’s materials inGenshin Impactwill not include Quenepa Berries, but they may be used for Chasca, Iansan, or Citlali, for example.

Genshin Impact 5.3 Leaks Say Mavuika Is Finally Breaking A Four-Year Trend

The first leaks about Mavuika’s skills in Genshin Impact 5.3 have emerged and she may finally end a character’s four-year reign in a team comp role.

It is uncertain if the number of Quenepa Berry nodes for farming will increase as the Natlan map continues to expand. If the Nation of Pyro gains more water bodies in future patches, there is a chance that more Quenepa Berry nodes will be added close to them. However, some Local Specialties are just extremely scarce, which is why you should follow the best Quenepa Berry farming routes inGenshin Impactand ensure you claim all of them every 48 hours.
