Every year, the multiplayer battle royale releases a Halloween-themed collaboration featuring spooky outfits and characters in its Fortnitemare event. The Halloween collab embraces nostalgia this year, resurrecting characters from classic horror titles.
An image of the upcoming collab, teased byShiinaon X, shows thatLeatherface and Billy the Puppet fromSawwill be coming toFortnitethis season.The image also shows a pumpkin-themed reskin of the Ultima Knight holding what looks like the Wood Stake Shotgun from last year’s Fortnitemares.
More characters show up in the background wearing spooky costumes, includingLexa in a witch’s outfit riding a broomstick.Other skins and outfits can also be seen peeking through, including a dark Marshmello outfit and a new Knightmare skin.

How This Fortnite Halloween Collab Compares To Last Year’s
This year’sFortniteHalloween lineup includes some big names in horror and new skins. The designs range from the awesome to the goofier-looking. Overall, though this year’s Fortnitemares sneak peek was met with a very positive response from the community.
Last year’s Fortnitemares has aneclectic lineup of new characters, adding Jack Skellington, Michael Myers, and Alan Wake to the game. Despite this variety, the outfit and skins collection was very monochromatic. This year’s skins and outfits look like they’ll bemuch more interesting and varied,and my favorite is the Ultima Knight pumpkin reskin.
Fortnitemare 2024 has yet to receive a release date, but the new skins will arrive inFortnitelater this month, which is just in time for the spooky season.
