Vin Diesel Is Teasing The Return Of Dom’s 1970 Chevy Chevelle In Fast 11
The Original Fast & Furious Car Is Back
Diesel recently posted a photo from the set ofFast & Furious 11that teased the return of a long-forgotten relic from the original movie. The picture shows Diesel in costume as Dom Toretto, wearing a black tank top, posing next to a 1970 Chevy Chevelle. In the caption, he teased that “something legendary rolled into the studio today… The first FAST car is here!”This seems to suggest that this isn’t just any 1970 Chevy Chevelle; it’s supposed to be THE 1970 Chevy Chevellefrom the final scene ofThe Fast and the Furious.
The problem is that this car blew up in Fast & Furious. It was wiped off the face of the Earth. If it returns in Fast & Furious 11, then it’ll be yet another unlikely resurrection.

In the post-credits scene ofThe Fast and the Furious, Dom was seen driving a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SSthrough Baja California, Mexico. This car later reappeared in the fourth movie, simply titledFast & Furious, so Dom has a long history of driving it. The problem is that this car blew up inFast & Furious. It was wiped off the face of the Earth. If it returns inFast & Furious 11, then it’ll be yet another unlikely resurrection.
How Dominic Toretto’s Original Fast & Furious Car Can Be Back In Fast 11
It Could Be A Different Chevelle
There are a couple of waysFast & Furious 11can explain the return of Dom’s beloved Chevelle. Diesel could be referring to the return of the model, not the same exact car, so this could be a different Chevelle that Dom got as a replacement for the one that blew up. Alternatively,Fast & Furious 11could explain that the original Chevelle survived somehow. It wouldn’t make sense, but it wouldn’t be the most far-fetched thing that happened in this franchise, either.
