Episode #5 Explains The Truth About Mercphobia’s Powers and the White Mage’s Abilities

Episode #5 ofFairy Tail: 100 Years Questbegins with Lucy, Gray, Happy, and Carla finally reuniting with Natsu and Wendy. Madmole, who had seemingly been knocked out by Natsu moments prior, wakes up again while Erza nearly manages to get the best of Kiria, but the Dragon Eater is saved by Skullion’s intervention. Skullion then reveals that the Dragon Eaters are after the White Mage, who has stolen Mercphobia’s powers before choosing to retreat along with Madmole and Kiria.

While Natsu and the rest contemplate their next move, Mercphobia wakes up and grabs Karameel by the neck, telling her to run. At that very moment, Natsu notices smoke coming from Ermina, and the group hurries to get back to the town. Mercphobia finally reveals his dragon form as multiple tornadoes ravage the town. Karameel arrives at the scene and states it is all her fault, revealing that she was the one who allowed the White Mage to steal Mercphobia’s powers.

A flashback reveals that Mercphobia was ready to die at the hands of whoever Elefseria sent against him next, which urged Karameel to approach the White Mage cult hoping that taking away some of his magical energy would revert Ermina back to the way it used to be and allow Mercphobia to live as a regular human being. However, Karameel explains that the White Mage took away Mercphobia’s ability to control his powers instead, revealing that the White Mage has the ability to manipulate another’s magical energy at will.

Fairy Tail Vs. Edens Zero: Is Natsu Stronger Than Shiki?

The concept of seeing Natsu versus Shiki is exciting, and it’s hard to tell who will come out on top based on their abilities and unique strengths.

Back at Fairy Tail, Jellal and the rest of the guild continue questioning Touka, who reveals the reason she came to Fairy Tail was to meet Wendy, who she’d heard was an expert on Enchantment Magic. Touka explains that her body has been taken over by the White Mage and she hopes Wendy would be able to help drive the White mage out of her body. However, the White Mage then takes hold of Touka and threatens to use Mercphobia to get rid of Wendy.

Meanwhile, Karameel begs Natsu and the rest to end Mercphobia’s suffering and kill him. Armed with a special spell from Wendy, Erza, Gray, and Lucy’s magic also gains the properties of Dragon Slayer magic and the group begins their battle against the powerful Water God Dragon while the White Mage enjoys a meal at Fairy Tail surrounded by unconscious guild members.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode #6 Will Continue Natsu’s Battle Against Mercphobia

Considering the point at which the previous episode ends, episode #6 ofFairy Tail: 100 Years Questwill likely resume the Natsu and the rest’s battle against Mercphobia. The group currently possesses quite a powerful buff from Wendy, but considering Mercphobia’s title as a God Dragon, he will not be an easy opponent in the slightest, especially now that he has begun unleashing his full power.

Episode #6 is also expected to introduce a new highly anticipated character with a surprising connection to Natsu and Igneel who may or may not help the group in their battle against Mercphobia. Even if they do not completely want to, Natsu and friends have been left with no choice but to subdue Mercphobia, and they could definitely use all the help they can get.
