The first images forDope Thief, an upcoming TV series produced by Ridley Scott, have been released, revealing a first look at the crime show led byNarcosand Monsterverse stars. Scott is no stranger to producing a multitude of TV shows, including critically acclaimed series likeThe Good WifeandThe Terror. He’s also attached to theupcomingAlien: EarthTV serieson FX, alongside the forthcomingBlade Runner 2099show on Prime Video. However, he’s also attached to the upcoming Apple TV+ crime series created by novelist and film writer Peter Craig, set to premiere in 2025.
Now,The Hollywood Reporterhas released three new images fromDope Thief, teasing the upcoming, Scott-produced series.One image shows stars Brian Tyree Henry (Monsterverse) as Ray and Wagner Moura (Narcos) as Manny, two DEA agents in Philadelphia who uncover a massive drug operation. Another image shows Nesta Cooper, whose role in the show is currently unclear. One last picture sees Henry grabbing something out of a truck while looking back, sporting a DEA coat.
