Diablo 4has received a lot of complaints about its endgame content from players, as many of them felt like bosses and what should be tough encounters at the end of your journey were too easy. A lot of players felt that there wasn’t any endgame content inDiablo 4because the fights were on the easier side, and it looks like Blizzard listened to this feedback, as boss fights are being addressed in Patch 2.2.0. Unfortunately, it might not be the fix you wanted.
Bosses are being revamped for Season 8, which should be a welcome improvement to the quality of endgame content. However, endgame content inDiablogames can be varied, and the part that we know is getting a change fromBlizzardrevolves around boss fights. It’s possible that other endgame elements will be adjusted in Season 8 or other future seasons, but for the moment, bosses are the hot topic in endgame conversation regarding changes.

Belial’s New Diablo 4 Fight Is So Much More Chaotic
Get Ready For New Mechanics
One of the changes mentioned in the developer’s livestream isspecific to the Belial boss fight, but I wouldn’t be that surprised to see similar mechanics used in other fights as well. With the changes, Belial will now ambush players in the middle of fighting. Considering boss fights already have a lot going on at one time, this new mechanic will only add to that chaos, increasing the difficulty as intended.
Diablo 4 Season 7 Witchcraft Powers Disabled Due To Trillions Of Damage Being Put Out By Certain Builds
Due to the power of certain classes in Diablo 4 Season 7, Blizzard has decided to disable Decay Augmentation & Twilight Warding.
Season 8 has been delayed a bit, but once it arrives, you’ll need to getused to keeping track of even more enemies and abilitieswith boss updates like the one Belial is getting. Even when you fight a lot of enemies at once or just a single boss, there’s usually a lot happening on your screen during that fight. This means that you have to keep track of what to dodge and when to use your own abilities so they’re as effective as possible. So, adding more mechanics that can be surprising means there will be even more chaos.

Requesting Diablo 4 Boss Fight Buffs Can Be Dangerous
You Can’t Predict What Will Happen
It turns out that asking developers to change something in-game canlead to unexpected consequences. Each season already has its own changes to gameplay, usually including unique features for thatseason, such as Witchcraft Powers. While those features can add difficulty in their own way—or make the game easier—a change to boss fights like this one for Belial are quite different, and might be more than players bargained for when they requested buffs for bosses.
Even if you don’t care for an increase in difficulty, it’ll still be interesting to see what changes and new features come with the next season.

If you like a challenge, then it looks like Season 8 is going to be a lot of fun. Even if you don’t care for an increase in difficulty, it’ll still be interesting to see what changes and new features come with the next season. After all, having a seasonal system like this means that the content continues to feel fresh inDiablo 4.
