There arethree Hellbreaches on a seasonal map, but they will only appear once you have accessed the content of Season 5 after beating the game’s story. If you have already gone through campaign missions with one character, you’re able to always choose to skip them when making a new world. This way, even if you try to begin with a new character on ahigher World Tier inDiablo 4, you don’t have to repeat a lengthy story.

Hellbreaches will appear using the same symbols as dungeons you can track on your map, only with thegreen leaf signifying their connection to seasonal content. How To Complete Hellbreaches (& Get Rewards)
Clear Enemy Waves For Various Earnings
Hellbreaches adopts the same gameplay as Infernal Hordes, whichasks you to defeat waves of enemiesin quick succession. Hellbreachesonly exist in World Tiers 1 and 2, with the more difficult Infernal Hordes modeled after being exclusive to the harder World Tiers 3 and 4.

Every Hellbreach you try gives you an objective you have to follow, similar to some dungeons within the game. These can range from collecting enough of a certain item to defeating enemies near a powerful structure where they gain power. Once you finish each goal, you will be given the choice to face new challenges and make future rooms in the Hellbreach harder in some way in exchange for better rewards.
The rewards of a Hellbreach are determined by the Burning Aether you collect from enemy waves. The stronger the enemies, the more Aether or rarer types of Aether they will drop as you meet objectives throughout the seasonal dungeons. Other rare items tied to Season 5 have a chance to also drop as additional rewards from Hellbreaches, such asMother’s Gifts inDiablo 4.
