When we last left Bruce Wayne he was offered a mysterious youth serum, known only as Sangraal, that promises to rejuvenate his body and mind — making him as strong and nimble as he once was. Batman is Being Offered a Youth Serum to Revitalize Him
Batman is undoubtedly one of the greatest heroes in the DC Universe. He’s saved Gotham on numerous occasions, fought with the Justice League to stop the biggest threats, and Bruce has even saved the multiverse at various points. Batman’s had a long career, one that’s seen hundreds, if not thousands of adventures. In that time, he’s built up a family of heroes and founded teams to help fight crime all across the globe. While Bruce’s work is far from done,Batman’s age has started to catch up with him to the point where even his allies have taken notice.
Batman is still in good shape, but the truth is he’s not a young man anymore. While the continuity is murky, he’s almost certainly been in the game for two, if not close to three decades given all Bruce has done. It’s understandable that the aging process start to take its toll on him and it’s even more understandable that he may consider options to counter it. Granted, fans know nothing about Sangraal such as where it comes from or where it’s made. Butif Batman genuinely believes it can help him conquer aging, he may very well take it.
What’s the Catch of Batman’s New Offer?
While it sounds like a dream come true, things like this always come with a catch and Batman knows that. While he’s not one to dive into things without thinking them through, Bruce is also someone who takes drastic measures if he feels they’re justified. The question is, what is Batman willing to sacrifice to return to his peak condition? The fortune he recently reclaimed? Some relic he collected years ago? It’s hard to say whatBatmanis willing to give up to restore his vitality, but he may just wind up taking this strange bargain after all.
