The first of these is the “Seal of Approval”, which is a form of event currency used to buy the “Slammin' Hammer” that deletes any item on the board. Then there’s the “Choco Rewindo” (used to undo up to three actions), and Gnome blueprints, which allow you to place an item somewhere of your choosing. These are all extremely helpful and can win you games. However,they should be used sparingly, and only when you’re far into a game, as it’s very tricky to maintain a supply of them.

You can leave the secret garden mini-game and come back to where you left off, meaning if you find yourself stuck, you can quickly pop out of the game to complete some missions or use up your seals.Hammers are more versatile than rewinds,and should be used when a specific item is in your way.
It’s generally a good idea to use gnome blueprints before rewinds or hammers, since they can prevent the need for the latter two.
Rewinds can be used to undo your last action, and are great for fixing mistakes— whether you accidentally merged the wrong items together, or merged them onto the wrong square. The game only ends when the player has a full board of unmergeable items, so you may want to consider keeping two of the same items next to each other without merging them to prevent a game-over. This will give you freedom to pick out which items are the best ones to remove and get yourself back on track.

Though many players may not like hearing this, the best piece of advice for this mini-game is to know when to restart.After a while, you will run out of seals, Choco rewinds, Slammin' hammers and Gnome Blueprints gathered from outside rewards, and will likely run into a dead end. If this happens early on, then you will be much better off restarting the game. Ending a round will reward you with certain items which can make future rounds easier — if you manage to get up to at least level nine, you can occasionally earn hammers and blueprints.

You earn 25 seals of approval for every level past level three, but will only earn complementary items past level nine. You also earn star jellies, bites, topping pieces, and crystals, but they aren’t relevant to this mini-game. At level 12, you can also earn Lights of Absolute Truth forAwakened Pure Vanilla Cookie’s Gacha inCookie Run: Kingdom. Since rewinds can’t be earned this way, you can only gain a finite number of them, so unless you are very far in, you should really prioritize other strategies before using them.
This mini-game also ties into the “Chest of Trophies” event. Every level six item in the secret garden will earn you 1,000 points. This is another way of earning Pure Vanilla’s soulstones, but it also has a high chance of rewardingBlack Sapphire Cookie’ssoulstones.
