Chainsaw Man just revealed a massive plot twist that had readers reeling, and it’s a perfect example of what makes the series great.
The reveal of her ability opens up a lot of possibilities, and the biggest one is that she might have already eaten Nayuta, the Control Devil, and is using her for whatever her plan is. This does make sense, given that she was there when Nayuta’s severed head was served on a platter, and given how the scene switched toDenji’s rage and turning into the Hero of Hell, she might have eaten Nayuta offscreen. There is some irony in that possibility, given that the Control Devil turns out to be the one being controlled. Furthermore, it would make Death and her plan much more sinister, as collecting the Horsemen as her pawns means something big will go down.

This chapter not only revealed an exciting and rather gruesome new ability, but it also did wonders for Death by characterizing her as someone who respects food and lives, and a menacing figure who could very well end up being the series' true final antagonist.
