What Happened In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter #14?

Boruto’s Intense Questioning And Conflict Elsewhere

Chapter #14 was a break from the action and delved into the interesting scenario of Boruto’s interrogation. Led by the Konohamaru, Two Elders, and Ebisu, Boruto’s questioning began, with Eida spying on and informing Kawaki of what was being said. Boruto reveals who and what the Shinjus are, and the threat they possess to the world. He also confirmed why they were targeting certain individuals, such as Hidari Sarada. After telling them the true danger of Jura, Boruto refuses to reveal his source and how he obtained such valuable information.

After Two Blue Vortex It’s Time to Admit I Was Wrong about Boruto as It Becomes One of the Most Exciting Shonen Manga

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has continued to advance the series' world and concepts with greater confidence to create something truly unique.

While Boruto drops the bombshell that Naruto is still alive, Shikamaru is pondering why he trusts Boruto so much, and this is due toOmnipotence erasing the truth of Boruto’s situation from his mind. While discussing how to help Boruto with Ino, Boruto’s refusal to further cooperate leads to him being beaten by Ebisu. Fortunately, Shikamaru put a stop to it and says it was ineffective. He instead suggests Mitsuki use poison on Boruto to get him to say the truth, and Mitsuki goes into the interrogation room.

Boruto Two Blue Vortex Actually Good now

However, this was a ploy by Shikamaru to free Boruto by havingMitsuki attack him and secretly remove the jutsu-sealing handcuffs on him. The plan was a success, and Boruto teleports out of here using Flying Raijin. The moment was short-lived though, as Shikamaru is alerted to a call from the Hidden Sand, where Kankuro reveals that the village was attacked, and Gaara and Shinki were defeated. The chapter ends with Jura and the Shinjus performing a ritual and awakening a new Shinju known as Ryu, who originated from Shinki.

Boruto Finally Focuses On Outside Konoha

The Next Arc Will Be Set In Another Location

While a lot happened in chapter #14, and it was an interesting development of village politics, it was great that the series is finally going outside the village and showing that the threat of the Shinjus affects the entire world. The next arc is possibly going to center around the Hidden Sand, and potentially other villages given the Shinjus are going around looking for Boruto and potential new allies.

What Will Happen In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter #15?

As unpredictable as the manga currently is, there are a few things that could happen. As shown by the official sneak peek, a segment of the chapter will focus on Boruto and Kawaki’s dialogue about what is happening. It is hinting at a potential team-up between the brothers, and Boruto potentially training Kawaki and teaching him all the techniques he would’ve learned in the future. This is a great and familiar development necessary to overcome Jura and his minions.

A flashback showing Gaara’s defeat and how Shinki came to be possessed by a tree is also a potential and very real path the series can take, as it is necessary to show how everything transpired. Furthermore, Kankuro requesting assistance from Konoha could lead to a team being sent to the village and assisting them. The candidates for the mission are interesting, and it is a great opportunity for the selected ninjas to be developed as characters, since they would be the focal point of the arc.
