Why There’s An Iron Fist In Eyes Of Wakanda (& Who It Could Be)
The Secrecy Of Wakanda Ties Nicely To Iron Fist’s History
It is in the hidden nature of the titular city thatEyes ofWakandacould link to Iron Fist. For centuries in the MCU, Wakanda was a secret, withEyes of Wakanda’s storyexploring how this secrecy was maintained. As such, it would make sense for Wakanda to ally itself with other hidden cities in the MCU, of which one is K’un-Lun. K’un-Lun is the hidden city that the Iron Fist is sworn to protect that can only be accessed every 10 years by those who know the secrets of the city.

It is unlikely to be the primary Marvel Comics iteration of Iron Fist, Danny Rand, as he lives in the present day andEyes of Wakandatakes place primarily in the past. This could mean that another iteration of Iron Fist will receive a spotlight inEyes of Wakanda, as the power is a mantle passed down from warrior to warrior by way of certain trials. It remains to be seen which version this will be, however, raising anticipation for theBlack Pantherspin-off,Eyes of Wakanda.
