Speaking at New York Comic Con,Johnson and Spalding teased upcoming crossovers for the Immortal Universe’sTalamascaseries andMayfair Witchesseason 2. The executive producer explained how the new series can help bridge the gap between the witch-centric series andInterview with the Vampire, confirming characters from both shows will appear in the series. Spalding went on to confirm that episode 3 ofMayfair Witcheswill feature a character from the vampire series, indicating a more cohesive shared universe is being built. Check out what Johnson and Spalding had to say below:

Mark Johnson: You know what, it’s very hard for us to think of legitimate ways to crossover between Mayfair Witches and Interview with the Vampire. However, in the show we’re shooting right now, Talamasca, there’s going to be considerable crossover, and some characters you’ve fallen in love with - or fallen in hate with - in both shows may appear in The Talamasca.
Esta Spalding: We do have one character we were lucky enough to get from Interview with the Vampire who comes into our third episode. So episode 3, you will see one character.

What Upcoming Crossovers Mean For The Immortal Universe
Everything Is About To Be Tied Strongly Together
Based on what Johnson and Spalding have said about bothMayfair Witchesseason 2 andThe TalamascaTV show, 2025 appears to be the yeareverything in the Immortal Universe is finally going to connect more directly. This was already hinted at duringInterview with the Vampireseason 2, when Daniel Malloy (Eric Bogosian) was given secret documents by Raglan James (Justin Kirk), a member of the Talamasca. With a character from the show set to appear elsewhere in the universe soon, stronger ties are about to form between all three shows.

Although Mayfair Witches does not explicitly explain what the 13th Witch Prophecy is, it presents several subtle clues that highlight its significance
The only show whose future tie-ins are unconfirmed isInterview with the Vampireseason 3, whose focus on Lestat (Sam Reid) might not allow much wiggle room for characters from other series to appear. However, given the cohesive ties between the show and other Immortal Universe series so far, it would make sense for the continuation to also feature a crossover with the rest of the franchise. Given the tie-ins now confirmed for the two shows coming next year,it’s clear the growing universe is going to be embracing its larger world moving forward.

Anne Rice has written three books that are crossovers betweenInterview with the VampireandMayfair Witches.
