No one in the DC Universe is a stranger to tragedy, yet Lian Harper’s tragic “end” had an enormous impact…The revelation that Lian was never dead at all changes circumstances for all of them.

Many relationships depend on chemistry over sense, and Roy Harper and Jade Nguyen certainly fit that bill. Jade has spent her life unapologetically as the villain, Cheshire, while Harper typically operatesmore from the heroic sideof the line. Though he’s not adverse to bending plenty of rule – evidenced by his time as one of the Outlaws with Jason Todd, and returning to bust Jade out of Belle Reve in the first place – he hardly sees eye to eye with Cheshire. Having a daughter still tied the two of them together, and her death didn’t completely sever that connection.

No one in the DC Universe is a stranger to tragedy, yet Lian Harper’s tragic “end” had an enormous impact. Her death sent Arsenal into a downward spiral through addiction and depression. Cheshire left Lian to be raised by her father, but she mourned her daughter’s death, too, andher occasional encounters with Roy had both of them seeking equal parts conflict and solace in each other. The revelation thatLian was never deadat all changes circumstances for all of them. She clearly supports her parents reuniting, and the three of them together would make an impressive team.

Even if there’s no romance in the future for Roy and Jade, working together with their daughter is still in the cards.
