Ahsokaseason 2 is one of the most anticipated upcomingStar Warsprojects, and hopefully, the brand-new season will incorporate these 10 things. Currently, there are only two confirmedupcomingStar Warsshows,Ahsokaseason 2andAndorseason 2. With Star Wars Celebration coming in April 2025, more announcements are certainly on the way, but for now, all eyes are onAndorandAhsoka.
Perhaps because of that, there have been plenty of rumors and speculation about whatAhsokaseason 2 will include. WiththeAhsokaseason 1 endingleaving off on such a thrilling cliffhanger and the possibility that some of the biggest actors inStar Warsmay have cameos in the show, hopes and expectations are high. Ideally,Ahsokaseason 2 will give audiences exactly what they are looking for, including, potentially, these 10 things.

Ahsoka Season 2 Should Confirm Ahsoka Remembers The Mortis Gods
Star Wars Has Hinted That Ahsoka Knows The Daughter Saved Her Life
The Mortis Godswere introduced inStar Wars: The Clone Wars, in an arc that saw Ahsoka Tano die at the hands of the Son. Ahsoka was only able to be saved because the Daughter, who was also dying because of her brother’s actions, helped Anakin transfer the last of her life force into Ahsoka. At the end of this arc, however,The Clone Warsconfirmed that Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka all had their memories wiped.
Despite that, there have been many hints that Ahsoka somehow remembers these events after all. Most notably, inStar Wars Rebels, Ahsoka told Ezra that Morai, the Daughter’s convor who follows her around, saved her life. This is presumably a reference to the Daughter’s sacrifice, suggesting Ahsoka regained her memories. Hopefully, with a focus on the Mortis gods already established in season 1,Ahsokaseason 2 will confirm that Ahsoka did regain these memories and explain how.

Ariana Greenblatt Has To Return As Young Ahsoka
Young Ahsoka Was Brilliant In Season 1
One of the best parts ofAhsokaseason 1 was Ariana Greenblatt’s performance as young Ahsoka Tanointhe World Between Worlds. This episode was arguably the single best ofAhsokato date, not only because it brought back Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker but also because it finally gave audiences a look at the Clone Wars era in live-action. A key part of this was finding an actress to play a teenage Ahsoka, and Greenblatt was absolutely perfect in the role.
A key part of this was finding an actress to play a teenage Ahsoka, and Greenblatt was absolutely perfect in the role.

Greenblatt perfectly captured young Ahsoka’s wit, sarcasm, and adoration for Anakin, and the episode truly felt like a direct live-action adaptation ofThe Clone Warsbecause of it. It’s unclear at this stage whether Greenblatt will be inAhsokaseason 2 and what that would look like, as it’s very unlikely the World Between Worlds will continue to play a role in the show. However, wereAhsokaseason 2 to offer additional Clone Wars flashbacks, it would be incredible to see her reprise the role.
We Need To See Zeb Orrelios Again In Live-Action
Most Of The Rebels Crew Has Now Been Reunited
One of the most glaring absences inAhsokaseason 1 was that of Garazeb “Zeb” Orrelios, who had been introduced along with Hera Syndulla, Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Sabine Wren, and Chopper inRebels. Except for Kanan, who sadly died inRebels,Zeb was the only member of theRebelsfamily not inAhsokaseason 1. While there was some speculation that this was due to the complication of bringing Zeb to live-action,Star Warsalready proved it’s possible withZeb’s cameo inThe Mandalorian.
One of the most glaring absences inAhsokaseason 1 was that of Garazeb “Zeb” Orrelios.
Yes, the difficulty would be greater if Zeb was to have a more significant story arc inAhsoka(which he almost certainly would), but it would be worth the effort, andStar Warsis no newcomer when it comes to complicated characters. Hopefully, season 2 will correct this and bring the whole family back together. Especially with Ezra’s return from Peridea at the end ofAhsokaseason 1, now would be the perfect time for Zeb to resurface.
I Hope Omega Has Her Live-Action Debut
Although perhaps a bigger and less likely ask,it would be incredible if Omega had her live-action debut inAhsokaseason 2. Omega was introduced inStar Wars: The Bad Batchas the shocking unaltered female clone of Jango Fett whom no one, including the clone troopers, knew about. Over the course ofThe Bad Batch’sthree seasons, Omega became a truly beloved character, and seeing her parent and child dynamic withClone Force 99, Hunter in particular, was touching.
TheBad Batchseason 3 endingrevealed that Omega’s story in the larger galaxy wasn’t over yet, though, even with the significant time jump. Rather, Omega was confirmed to be going off to fight alongside the Rebellion, heavily hinting she may be seen again inStar Wars’future shows or movies. Given Omega already has a relationship with Hera, it would make perfect sense for her to pop up now inAhsokaseason 2. It would be wonderful to see Omega in live-action and to see what’s become of her sinceThe Bad Batchconcluded.
Hopefully, Ezra Bridger And Hera Syndulla Will Have A More Heartwarming Reunion
Hera And Ezra’s Reunion Left A Lot To Be Desired
At the very end ofAhsokaseason 1, Ezra finally made his way back to the mainStar Warsgalaxy after years of being stuck on Peridea. Despite the significant time that had passed, and the fact that Hera had long been like a mother to Ezra,Ezra and Hera’s reactions to seeing one another again were muted, to say the least. Not only was this massively disappointing in terms of their relationship, but it also felt uncharacteristic for both of them, especially compared to theirRebelscharacters.
Many viewers were expecting Hera and Ezra to run towards each other and embrace, similar to Omega and Wrecker’s reunion inThe Bad Batchseason 3. Unfortunately, Hera and Ezra instead just stood across from one another, with Hera looking surprised. While some initial shock is fine, hopefully,Ahsokaseason 2 will give audiences a much more satisfying representation of the relationship Ezra and Hera have.

Thrawn Should Do Some Real Damage To The Galaxy
The Plot With Thrawn Shouldn’t Be Resolved Too Quickly Or Easily
Ezra wasn’t the only person to return from Peridea inAhsokaseason 1’s final episode. Unfortunately for the galaxy,Grand Admiral Thrawnwas also returning, with the clear intention of restoring the Empire to its former glory. Presumably, his plan will be to bring together the Imperial remnants and sympathizers and fight back against the New Republic, with him, rather than Palpatine, now at the helm.
Obviously, this plot is ultimately unsuccessful, as Thrawn isn’t in charge during theStar Warssequel trilogy. That doesn’t mean that Thrawn’s threat should be extinguished quickly, though. On the contrary,Ahsokaseason 2 should prove that Thrawn is a legitimate adversary and maintain high stakes for this situation, even in light of Thrawn’s inevitable defeat. It will also be interesting to see whether this plot has any connection toThe Mandalorian & Grogu, perhaps with Thrawn becoming a villain in that story as well.

The Mandalorian’s story will continue with a Star Wars movie. Here’s everything we know about the project, including cast, release, and timeline.
I’m Ready To See Abeloth In The Star Wars Canon
One Of Star Wars' Most Terrifying Villains Could Be Coming Soon
A much more terrifying villain than Thrawn might be coming inAhsokaseason 2. AsAhsokaseason 1 already revealed that the Mortis Gods have some sort of presence on Peridea (as Baylan Skoll was shown standing atop a statue of the Father in the final episode), the final member of the Mortis Gods family may finally enterStar Warscanon, which would be thrilling news for viewers and very bad news for those still on Peridea. Abeloth, also called the Mother, was associated with the Mortis Gods, although she had not been a god at first.
The final member of the Mortis Gods family may finally enterStar Warscanon, which would be thrilling news for viewers and very bad news for those still on Peridea.
The Mother began as a human, but because she feared aging and no longer being with the Father, the Son, and the Daughter, she bathed in the Font of Power and the Pool of Knowledge, both of which corrupted her and led to her becoming Abeloth. Abeloth then became such a grave threat that, in Legends, the Mortis Gods had her imprisoned. Theoretically,Peridea could be her place of imprisonment. Baylan’s goal may even be to release her, which would be a very exciting update to the Mortis Gods' canon story.
Shin Hati Joining Ahsoka Tano And Sabine Wren Would Be Incredible
Many Viewers Are Hopeful This Team-Up Is Coming
Yet another character now trapped on Peridea is Shin Hati, who was introduced as Baylan Skoll’s apprentice inAhsokaseason 1. Shin proved to be a complicated character, just as Baylan is, given she is a Force-user who is neither a Jedi nor a Sith. Even so, it’s clear she’s plenty comfortable using the dark side of the Force, and she was an adversary for Ahsoka and Sabine—Sabine in particular.
Is Ahsoka About To Break The Jedi Code? This Thrilling Star Wars Theory Is Perfect For Ahsoka Season 2
This brilliant Star Wars theory suggests Ahsoka season 2 could see Ahsoka Tano making a major change to the Jedi code—and it would be incredible.
Despite Shin being an antagonist inAhsoka, audiences immediately took to Shin, and many are hoping to see her join forces with Sabine and Ahsoka inAhsokaseason 2. It would make sense for Shin to switch sides, especially because Baylan effectively abandoned her at the end of season 1. This may even mean Ahsoka taking Shin on as another apprentice, which would be especially interesting.
Ezra Training Jacen Syndulla Would Be The Perfect Full-Circle Moment
Jacen Revealed His Strength In The Force In Season 1
Jacen Syndulla was revealed at the very end ofRebelsto be the child of Kanan Jarrus and Hera Syndulla who tragically never got a chance to meet his father. It’s clear he inherited plenty from Kanan, though, including his Force sensitivity. InAhsokaseason 1, which featured Jacen much more heavily, it was Jacen who helped Hera find Ahsoka when she was in the World Between Worlds. Jacen then reveals he could even hear the lightsaber fight between Anakin and Ahsoka, which visibly impresses Ahsoka.
With Ezra now back and Jacen’s Force sensitivity confirmed, it would be the perfect full-circle moment for Ezra to become Jacen’s Jedi Master. Kanan had been Ezra’s Jedi Master, and Ezra mentoring Kanan’s son in this way would be a beautiful way to honor Kanan’s memory. It would also simply be thrilling forStar Warsto introduce a brand-new master and apprentice duo, although that’s particularly true when one of them is the child of one ofStar Wars’most beloved characters.
With Ezra now back and Jacen’s Force sensitivity confirmed, it would be the perfect full-circle moment for Ezra to become Jacen’s Jedi Master.
I Want The Obi-Wan Kenobi And Anakin Skywalker Rumors To Be True
There Are Some Major (And Incredible) Obi-Wan And Anakin Rumors
More than anything,I hope the rumors that Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor will appear inAhsokaseason 2 are true. It was somewhat expected for Christensen to return, as Anakin was revealed to be watching over Ahsoka on Peridea as a Force ghost, and it’s well-known that Christensen is always open to new opportunities to return inStar Wars. What is shocking is the idea that McGregor might reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi as well.
If McGregor, Christensen, and Greenblatt were to all come back, this could mean a major Clone Wars plotline.
This also opens up incredible story possibilities forAhsokaseason 2. In fact, if McGregor, Christensen, and Greenblatt were to all come back, this could mean a major Clone Wars plotline. As McGregor has recently referenced a possible return that would require de-aging and allow him to wear Obi-Wan’s Clone Wars armor, this could very well be coming. Any of these 10 possibilities forAhsokaseason 2 would be brilliant, but I am especially hopeful thatStar Warswill see the return of these iconic and beloved heroes.
